WINTER IS COMING

The ominous warnings from Astrologers of Saturn entering Capricorn on Dec. 19 has sent people scurrying for cover as they drain the moat, raise the drawbridge, and stuff their mattresses with cash and foodstuffs in anticipation of lean times ahead. Now it’s true that Saturn is the planet of trials and tribulations and it can be pretty heavy-handed in Capricorn, but Saturn doesn’t bring catastrophe. The planet of time, Saturn’s job is to reveal those things in your life that have reached their expiration date. These are obligations that have overstayed their welcome, strategies that have outlasted their effectiveness, or situations that have grown feeble and weak. Saturn brings the collapse of those institutions, agencies, beliefs, and promises whose foundations have rotted from age and neglect. Again, this isn’t done to destroy. It’s done in order for new life to take root, grow, and to flourish. Saturn will be in Capricorn from Dec. 19, 2017 to Dec. 17, 2020.
