You should have known better. Good intentions always pave the way to hellish situations as the Sun/Mars opposition on December 8th demonstrates. But before you rake yourself over the coals for being naive, ask yourself if it was worth it? Not financially, but karmically? Sometimes good intentions do cost – especially in a world that celebrates cutthroat transactions that come at others’ expense. The fact that you were willing to do something because it was the right thing to do makes a difference. And if you’re worried about this playing against type, you can always tell people you were possessed by the spirit of the season.
