Getting up to speak in front of a group of people isn’t easy – especially when they’re more familiar with your subject than you are. The audience that you’re trying to win over couldn’t care less about whether you know your material or not; they just want to be sold. They want you to take that dry collection of data you gathered and turn it into a compelling argument, an absorbing narrative, or an irresistible pitch that makes them want to click the “buy now” button. Focus less on your credentials and more on your message and you will surely sell what you came to sell.
