Projecting our shadow side is nothing new. Everyone does it. It happens whenever we blame someone else for making us do something we know we shouldn’t do, assume that strangers are trying to deceive us without proof, or shame people for the things that we are secretly ashamed of. You’ve probably noticed this tendency increasing over the past few weeks so it will come as no surprise when tensions reach a crescendo on October 25th thanks to the Solar Eclipse in Scorpio. But this sudden influx of Scorpio energy isn’t meant to terrorize or traumatize; it’s meant to help us reclaim those fugitive parts of ourselves because it’s only by taking responsibility for our actions, owning our fears, and accepting certain unflattering truths that we can hope to find peace of mind. It may feel at times like you’re the only one being asked to do this, but you aren’t. If anything, the more you reclaim your projections, the more others will do the same and everyone will wind up seeing things a lot more clearly.
