TOSS OR KEEP?

On February 10th Mercury conjoins Pluto for the last time in Capricorn. It’s a heady conjunction given that Mercury is the planet of the mind. One might think this would bring extraordinary insight or a life-altering revelation, but no. It won’t. That’s because Pluto is winding up its stay in Capricorn so its energy is akin to moving out of an old apartment rather than moving into a new one. What you’re being asked to do is to take an inventory of your beliefs and thinking. Are there automatic responses that you perform out of habit? Self-critical voices that discourage but never uplift? Beliefs that you pay lip service to without any true conviction? Pluto, named after the Roman god of the Underworld, rules over expiration dates and you may have a lot of items in the back of your psychological refrigerator that need tossing. This will prove easy to do because of the fact that Pluto is departing. In fact you may even get a little giddy as you purge your life of neuroses and complexes that have lost all relevance. This clears up space for the ideas and aspirations you truly cherish and want to keep.
