WALK IT BACK

Are you having second thoughts about that outburst? Feeling remorse after walking out? Being visited by doubts about the turn you took a ways back? There are times when you need to redouble your efforts, shut out the inner critic, and focus on the task at hand. And then there are times (like during a Mercury retrograde) when it’s an even better idea to go back the way you came and make that apology, extend that olive branch, or mend that rift. Second thoughts don’t express a lack of resolve. They’re not a sign that you’ve gone soft. If anything, they communicate having thought better of an action that wasn’t wise to take in the first place. Don’t let pride get in the way of doing what’s right – especially when there’s still time to salvage the situation. Regret is for those who stubbornly chose not to fix things when they had the chance to fix them.
