Saturn enters Aquarius on March 21. The planet of trials and tribulations, Saturn is most powerful right when it enters a sign; immediately testing us in those areas of life that fall under the domain of this constellation. Saturn searches out our weak spots and exposes our shortcomings. Just like someone checking under the hood of a car and then circling round to kick its tires to see if it’s sound. But Saturn doesn’t do this to shame us. It does it to build us up – but it can only do that by removing the deadwood i.e. all those false securities, lies we told ourselves, and outmoded beliefs that have overstayed their welcome. Aquarius is the zodiac sign of groups, society, and the ideals that rule over a collective. Of all the signs, it’s Aquarius that insists on putting the needs of the many ahead of the needs of the few. This is something that we’re all getting a taste of now. Will Saturn in Aquarius summon the better angels of our nature or the opposite? Only time will tell.
