Remember when you were grounded as a kid for having done something wrong? No TV, no telephone, and a dock in your weekly allowance. It seemed cruel, unjust, and like your parental units were being horribly unfair, however it did force you to acknowledge and to reflect on what you did. We don’t make changes unless we have to which is why Saturn – and not Mercury or even Uranus – is the planet of changes that matter. Saturn’s changes matter because they stick. It’s something to think about on September 28 when the planet of time comes out of retrograde. A lot has happened since it reversed direction last May and the question for all of us as a society is: have we learned anything and are we ready to mend our ways? There’s been a lot of talk about rights, but Saturn is the planet of responsibility. It talks about your responsibility to others as well as theirs to you. It talks about our responsibility to the planet. Hopefully we’ve all gotten the message and will make better and wiser choices before it’s too late.
