They say that if at first you don’t succeed, you should try, try again. It’s the favorite proverb of encouraging mothers, unwavering Jesuits, and motivational speakers. But there’s more to this than pulling yourself up by the bootstraps when you’ve been laid low. There’s the matter of time. How many times will you try again? And how long will it take to succeed? On June 10th Mercury in Taurus will form its final trine to Pluto in Capricorn. Bear in mind that this trine has taken place at least once a year since 2009. What makes this trine so important is that it’s not the last heave-ho, but rather the indefatigable repetition that brings the lasting change. Maybe this is the umpteenth time you take the bar exam or submit a manuscript to a publishing house. Or perhaps you recently went back to get your license or diploma. In any case it looks like this Mercury/Pluto trine will finally deliver on years of having been rebuffed and ignored – and when it does it will not only validate what you’ve been doing, it will open your world in ways you never imagined.
