You hate to leave anyone in the lurch, but that’s what you’ll be forced to do when Mercury retrogrades past Venus on July 24. The problem isn’t that something else came up; it’s with the promise you gave in the first place. Either you pledged allegiance without knowing what you were getting into or you learn that the person you said you would help hasn’t been entirely honest. In any case you need to beat a retreat and without calling attention to what’s really going on. You need time to do your research because who knows? There may be a satisfactory explanation after all.
