You should have known better than to believe things could have been settled amicably. Yes, it all seemed reasonable at the time. You explained your position in simple terms, the other party appeared agreeable, and for all intents and purposes it felt like everyone was on the same page about not wanting to cause a ruckus and moving on. Well, that was then and this is now. Retrograde Mercury passing over Pluto on January 28th brings the reaction you knew was smoldering underneath. It’s not pretty, but there’s something liberating about taking off the kid gloves and doing what you wanted to do all along.
