Sometimes we’re given a choice and sometimes we’re given an order dressed up to look like a choice. Guess which one you’ll be receiving this week? Since you already know that you have no say in the matter, it’s best to put a good face on things. You learned long ago that pointing out what’s wrong only makes the other party dig in their heels deeper. Truth to tell you’d do the same if you were in their shoes. Nevertheless you can tell that what this person is proposing won’t work in the long run, but better to let them discover that on their own.
