Venus retrogrades are never easy. The planet of peace and love, Venus is anything but when she’s backwards in your sign. Instead of attracting favor, she will make you a lightning rod for controversy. You might be tempted to hide out but since this energy is going to be with you anyway, you’re better off being loud, proud, and holding your head high. Remember that you’re dealing with other people’s projections, not yours, so consider reciting the childhood mantra: “I’m rubber you’re glue whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you.” Venus will be retrograde from Oct. 5 to Nov. 16.
