You’ve changed your evil ways so why isn’t anybody recognizing this? Why are people refusing to cut you any slack or give you credit for doing a complete turnaround? Probably because they still have a lot invested in making you the bad guy. As long as you’re the one drawing negative fire then they don’t have to take responsibility for their own actions. It’s a tricky business owing up to one’s mistakes and foibles, but in the end you have to remember that you’re not doing this to win others’ favor. You’re doing it because you’re the one who benefits from taking the high road.
