The Mars/Jupiter square on May 22d signals a change in the higher ranks. This is good news as you recognize your new supervisor as someone you worked with successfully in the past and whose vision is similar. But don’t expect to be chummy right now. You need to remember that there’s been a change in the hierarchy and this person has a lot to prove in their new capacity. You may find their sudden remoteness off-putting and even condescending, but don’t take it personally because they need to establish their status. Show them the respect they deserve and you’ll soon see your old friend reemerge.
