Why do you refuse to give up on something that’s bringing you down? Is it really a case of better the hell you know than the heaven you don’t or is it because you don’t want to leave? There’s nothing wrong with being the only person who sees a certain someone’s good side or staying because you know that a situation would fall apart if you left. Let people say you’re being co-dependent or self-sabotaging; the simple truth is you’re being who you are. You have always had the presence of heart to sit with others in their hurt.
