You don’t like answering to bean-counters and paper-pushers, but this is a good week to remember that they are people too. It’s their job to deliver the messages nobody wants to hear – like how profits are low, your job performance is slacking, or that you can’t do what you originally wanted to because of legal technicalities. You could yell at them if you like. Everyone does and they’re used to it. Or you could enlist their aid by asking them for advice and following their direction. People respond warmly to being treated like individuals instead of a Borg collective. You could win a valuable ally.
