You’re going to get your way on June 14th. You fought the good fight and the other side will relent; however, this victory doesn’t come free of cost. You’re going to have to give something back in return. Maybe it’s yielding on a hotly contested point or promising to play nicely with others at work. Whatever the concession, it won’t be painless, but there’s no denying it must be done. You may even feel like this cheapens your triumph but that’s your ego talking. Months from now you’ll be glad you did what you did and will hardly remember what all the fuss was about.
