The problem with having to choose between the lesser of two evils is that you still lose in the end. It’s clear you’ve been outmaneuvered and there’s no way you can regain the advantage. Mars in Scorpio transiting your solar eighth has made certain of that. However you still have something the other party wants which means that you can state your terms. Think long and hard about what you stand to gain (instead of what you’ll be sacrificing) and you’ll find your way to putting together an arrangement you can live with. Not a victory, but not quite the loss you imagined either.
