Your decision to cut ties with a person or cause will throw everyone for a loop. You’ve been secretly wrestling with this for a while, but others don’t know that. It will seem totally out of the blue to them and they’ll be shocked and surprised. You know that what you’re doing is for the best, but people might not see it that way for weeks to come – maybe until the end of March. You’ll have to accept being persona non grata in some circles but rest assured that everyone will come around to seeing things from your point of view. They always do.
