This isn’t going to be a good week for you in the polls. At first you’ll be scandalized by the bad press you’re getting. It’s astonishing how your words can be taken out of context and then twisted to suit others’ purposes. But if you take a couple of steps back and reexamine matters objectively then you’ll soon see how your past actions could be interpreted in this way. It’s not what you meant to do but perception is everything nowadays. Don’t try to excuse or explain but ask what you can do to improve your situation instead. This will help you regain people’s respect.
