If you answer “yeah, but . . . ” more than three times this week then you’re in trouble. Mercury/Mars squares are defensive as is, but this one shows you digging your own grave. A refusal to listen raises the question of whether you understand the gravity of your situation and continually pointing out why it’s not your fault only sounds like you’re blaming somebody else. What you really need to do is to take a deep breath and listen to what the other party has to say. This isn’t about who’s right or wrong; it’s about whether you’re going to make a good fit.
