People who are talented often flourish right away. Yet this doesn’t necessarily mean that they will go the distance or even succeed. Used to accomplishing things easily they can fold early in the game when the going gets tough. People who are skilled, however, aren’t necessarily super talented. They may have enough to get by but it’s how they nurture that talent – through discipline, perseverance, and hard work – that gets them further than most.
