Last week’s Mars/Saturn trine culminates in this week’s Mars/Pluto trine on March 20. Both Saturn and Pluto are famous for making the going tough. Saturn does this by playing on your weaknesses and anxieties so that you don’t feel like you’re up to the challenge you face while Pluto will make you go through hell and high water to see if you’re truly worthy of the prize you seek. Thankfully you’re up to the challenge. You might not have thought so at first, but the fact that you’re being forced to go outside your comfort zone and to do something you never thought yourself capable of doing attests to how powerful your volition is. Sometimes it’s not until we’re on the ropes that we draw on strengths and resources that we never would have drawn on otherwise. That is why they say that adversity introduces you to yourself.
