You have mixed feelings about a loved one’s eleventh hour save. On one hand you’re grateful that he’s out of trouble and back on solid ground. It’s been a harrowing few weeks and you had no idea how he would escape his dilemma. The part you don’t like is who did the rescuing. Maybe it’s the ex-girlfriend, the no-good friend, or sibling who brings out the worst in him. In any case you need to get over yourself because he’s out of the woods. And who knows? Maybe that person you’re not too keen on may have turned over a new leaf as well.
