However it can be said that we are all living in a collective fantasy world of our own making nowadays thanks to the Internet. We talk about virtual realities and alternative Universes with complete seriousness. Fantasy gaming is one of the most popular (and profitable) forms of entertainment. Just about everyone knows what an avatar is and invisible friends are no longer phantoms that haunt emotionally stunted children. In fact we can instant message our invisible friends everyday on Facebook. But just because we can tap into the world of the collective imagination through imaging doesn’t mean that we’ve solved the age old problem of how to make our dreams a reality and that’s a problem that you’re struggling with now.
Your big question on Feb. 23 is: can you trust a certain someone who always promises to be there for you only to bail at the last moment? This has been a constant problem and has resisted your best efforts to solve it. Well, they say that the definition of insanity is to keep repeating the same thing over and over in hopes of a different result. It may be time to do yourself a favor and to cut ties with someone who’s always been a no-show.
Neptune is all about your vision. It asks the question: what is your vision of the perfect life? Neptune isn’t about goals, ambitions, and to-do lists. Neptune is about your hopes and dreams and wishes. These can be frightening ideas because there’s no guarantee that the something you long for will ever be in reach. Will my hopes be dashed? Am I living in a Fool’s Paradise? Was my creative vision just wishful thinking? These are the questions that will bedevil you from Feb. 27 through March 9.
The trick to working with a vision is to let it lead you on. An artist may begin with a mental picture of the perfect painting or an inventor may conceive of a brilliant idea, however they know deep inside that they’re never going to duplicate what they see in their mind’s eye. It just isn’t going to happen because what they see is just too perfect and something always gets lost in the translation from drawing board to reality. However said artist or inventor can be inspired by what they see which leads them to the first step which is to create – and that, in and of itself, means that they have embarked on the journey of their creative process. This is something that you’ll discover for yourself when a window of opportunity magically opens on March 11.
On March 13 you may face a setback on the home front. This could involve a purchase or sale, funding for a remodeling project, or a loved one struggling with an intensely personal matter. Whatever the domestic situation, it’s important for you to not keep pushing to meet a deadline or desirable outcome. Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, is retrograde which means that the winds of change have changed direction and are no longer filling your sails. You may be tempted to abandon ship, but don’t. Reach for an oar instead and start rowing. Jupiter blesses those who keep the faith when others have abandoned theirs and you will be rewarded for your efforts on July 5. This is when things will pick up again in this area of life for you.
Finally the New Moon on March 17 shows you changing your mind last minute about a certain venture or endeavor. You may feel bad about letting people down, but it would have been worse had you continued to pretend that you were into something when you weren’t.
