Venus conjunct Saturn
Venus/Saturn conjunctions have a pretty bad reputation in Astrology. According to traditional texts they’re supposed to signify a paralyzing fear of rejection, broken hearts, and loveless unions. Given that Astrology has been around for 2500+ years these interpretations might have made a sense in a world of arranged marriages where the dowry – and not the bride – was the object of desire, but Venus has learned to flex her muscles over the centuries and nowadays this planetary conjunction shows up quite frequently in long-term relationships or where partners find each other later on in life – i.e. after the first Saturn return. It isn’t easy dealing with a spouse’s or lover’s foibles. Many people break up or divorce at the first sign of disenchantment – but if you’re willing to put in the work that being with someone else requires you will forge a friendship and a bond that nothing can put asunder. You might not have started out as each other’s first choice, but you will certainly wind up being each other’s best choice. Signs most affected: Taurus, Libra, Capricorn, and Aquarius
