You thought you dotted all your i’s and crossed all your t’s so it will be a surprise to be thrown a diphthong on March 24. Once again the blame lies with a partner who hasn’t kept up with his end of the bargain. If you haven’t cut ties by now then you probably never will, but be more proactive in protecting your interests. Maintain separate bank accounts and maybe take charge of his finances. It’s awkward taking over the reins but would you let someone who’s had a few get behind the wheel? It’s up to you to be the designated adult for now.
