Everything becomes exaggerated when Mercury squares Jupiter on Aug. 10. Usually your lover or spouse would understand something said in jest except that these planets are so volatile that you could see your flippant remark snowball into fighting words. Cutting remarks fired at you in rapid succession will make you feel hurt and defensive which means that you’ll naturally want to retaliate.
