Your home life is your top priority and what you want is peace and quiet when you return from work at the end of the day. Is that so much to ask? Unfortunately loved ones don’t appear to be on the same page as you. Your spouse may be a real pain-in-the-derriere these days, your grown-up kids may be boomeranging in one week and boomeranging out the next, and even your own parents (particularly your father) may not have gotten the memo that says that you are an adult now. You need to establish who’s in charge and sooner would be better than later.
