It looks like you’re going to have to put your plans on hold when it comes realizing your dream of the perfect home sweet home for now. You may have seriously underestimated how much a renovation would cost or a buyer who was close to buying backs out last minute or your boomerang kid’s temporary stay could turn into something more long term. In any case it’s best to not push against the current which is no longer moving in your direction. Remember that this is a setback and not a dealbreaker. You will be back on track to following your domestic bliss in July.
