Mercury retrograde is challenging enough, but when the planet changes zodiac signs in its backwards journey then that could mean a total disavowal of what came before. It’s not unlike one president coming into office after another one and undoing all of the promises, pledges, and policies that existed before. It’s why it’s best to never assume anything, to bird-dog every development as it unfolds, and to be ready to improvise on the spot. You may be dealing with a new player who’s dead set against you (which means you should cut your losses) or you could be dealing with someone who wants to throw out the old version of what you had in favor of a new and better deal.
