November finds the Child of Neptune at low tide, feeling rather like the beach that is exposed, dry and picked clean. So it’s good to know that things are shifting, and the water is beginning to rise, bringing nourishment and protection all the way until next June.  The last three days of November you feel an uncomfortable sensation of being watched or even scrutinized but you can’t sort out who’s doing it, or why.

The feeling persists through December 7. On the 19th, a sudden surge of energy lifts you out of your paranoid funk.  Temptations arise on New Year’s Eve, so this may be one of those years when you want to spend that holiday close to home. At minimum, designate a driver before the festivities begin! The typically sweet and often spaced-out nature of the Child of Neptune is enhanced in January 2017 as Venus, the harbinger of love and connection, moves through your zodiac sign of Pisces. Your compassion and empathy are off the charts now: given your propensity to “give till you bleed,” you must be careful not to give too much of yourself away. By the same token, if you happen to feel sorry for yourself, remember that “retail therapy” can quickly get out of hand. The danger is in the excess, no matter what the direction. February 2017 is a potentially historic month for you thanks to an eclipse in your sign on the 26th. Eclipses have a dislodging effect. Alarming as this sounds, changes that occur now create room for other effects to emerge. Sometimes just a small shift can create a quantum leap. As March begins, you gain insight and awareness; the clarity is so great that you are able to concisely articulate it on March 4. April is complicated romantically as love planet Venus changes direction in your sign. Don’t make permanent changes in your relationships this month. There is real danger of taking on more work than is sensible in April. You think you can do it all, but this feeling of invincibility will soon pass, leaving you exhausted.
